Our Ministries

Awana Serves children 2 years old (by September 1) through High School. Awana meets from September through May. Awana is a discipleship program that emphasizes scripture memory with the goal that all children and youth will come to know love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. Clubbers spend time each night on games large group lessons and handbook time. Clubbers receive awards for their work throughout the year and during an end-of-year celebration. Building Bridges ministry exists to inspire and equip others to build relationships with one another among the diverse community of people within and beyond our church family. We host fellowship events and volunteer opportunities.

Christ Church Kids is a worship service designed just for 1st-3rd graders! At Christ Church Kids children connect with leaders and friends while they learn how to navigate the Bible that they can trust God no matter what that they need to make wise choices and that they should treat others the way they want to be treated. This is accomplished through fun and creative ways led by Small Group Leaders and our Worship Team!

Christ Church Men are committed to growing as disciples of Jesus Christ in community with other men and advocating on behalf of men children and youth around the world. We do this through our monthly meetings, fellowship with drinks and BBQ - then on to a guest speaker and a lesson. We support many missions from ministries down the hall, around the corner and around the world. Our support for our missions is raised through a rummage sale and our annual golf tournament. If you're looking to get to know other men of faith Christ Church Men is the place for you.

Christ Church Teens strives to connect our students with Jesus Christ and equip them with the skills they need to live out their faith. We do this through building personal relationships in small groups and walking them through the Bible. We walk them through challenging topics and discussions and we encourage them to think critically about their faith. Every week we offer free food an assortment of games and live worship that is led by our Youth Band.

Christ Church Tweens is a worship service for Tweens (4th-6th grades)! We know most research shows if a child does not personally know Jesus by the time they are 13 At Christ Church Tweens we cultivate every event to strengthen tweens' relationship with Jesus grow their Christian community and help them know Jesus as their Savior. This is achieved through Small Groups worship Biblical sermons for tweens and events!

Christ Church Women are committed to growing as disciples of Jesus Christ in community with other women and advocating on behalf of women children and youth around the world. We do this through our monthly meetings. We fellowship with refreshments then on to a guest speaker and a lesson. One of our ministries is serving funeral dinners for the church. We reach out to the grieving families and offer comfort. We support many missions and ministries down the hall around the corner and around the world. Our support for our missions is raised through a rummage sale.

Christ Philipines Mission is a ministry partner with local churches provides feeding programs and sponsors children's education at various locations in the Philippines.

Christian Activities Center (CAC) is a school after school in East St. Louis for children ages 5-18. From 3:30 - 8 pm the center wraps around each child with hot meals and four class blocks in faith education (Common Core aligned reading writing and math) computers and health (exercise recreation trauma counseling and life skills). In the process CAC keeps kids off the mean streets that surround them and raises them into responsible equipped adults who someday will transform East St. Louis. Summer hours are 10 am - 6 pm.

College Connections brings words of encouragement Bible verses and the love of Jesus by handwriting on homemade cards during the school year. We have a group of people who faithfully pray and write to college students of all ages and stages. The students or their families sign up by filling out a form that shares information with College Connections. We use this information to tailor the cards to each specific student. We meet one Monday a month from 6:30-8:00 pm at the Fairview Heights Campus August through April.

Creation Clubhouse we minister to children 6 weeks old through Kindergarten. At this age children have a natural wonder and curiosity about everything around them. Creation Clubhouse is the place where that natural wonder and excitement is focused on our loving Heavenly Father. Here our planned learning activities provide a spiritual foundation for our children. Through small groups and worship they will learn that God made them God loves them and Jesus wants to be their friend forever. We give children a big view of God and cultivate their desire to grow in their relationship with Him.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Ministry provide interpreting services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Anyone interested in learning American Sign Language or interacting with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing is welcome. To interpret you must be a certified American Sign Language Interpreter level 3 or above.

Food Pantry at Farview Heights Campus accepts donations year-round to stock the Fairview Heights food pantry. Items needed include: Canned Meats. (Chicken Beef Spam Tuna Corned Beef Hash etc.) Hamburger Helper & Boxed Stuffing. Soups – (especially cream soups mushroom chicken potato etc.) Various canned vegetables – (especially corn.) Breakfast Items – (Boxed cereals oatmeal grits Cream of Wheat pancake mix & syrup) Paper products – (paper towels & toilet paper) Hygiene products – (hand soap hand sanitizer deodorants cleansing wipes etc.)

We want to connect those with newly diagnosed repeat diagnosed or in remission with the powerful support and love that comes with a relationship with Jesus Christ. If you struggle with cancer and your faith we would like to help you grow your relationship with Christ so that He can help you deal with your condition. We will learn together as we combat our illness pain fear and doubts. (Due to the sensitive nature of the subject children will not be able to attend meetings or be unsupervised outside of the room.)

Feed My Sheep Ministry provides free medical clinics to various communities in Honduras sponsors children's education and partners with local churches in support of individual spiritual development and feeding programs.

FCA's mission is to lead every coach and student athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.

First Priority provides campus ministry at Metro East schools for middle and high school students by equipping students to share the gospel with their peers.

Gathering 139 is our process for Infant and Child Baptisms/Presentations for children from birth to 6 years old. Gathering 139 is derived from Psalms 139

Hines Uganda Mission (HUM) - through their sponsorship program orphanage medical clinic AWANA program and primary school train and equip children in Kamonkoli Uganda to be future servant leaders and overcomers for the kingdom of God.

Kids For Christ (K4C) is an after-school program held in 78 area schools (after school hours) one day per week for 5 weeks in the fall and 5 weeks in the spring. The ministry is designed to encourage positive choices through Bible exploration.

Missionary Fund at Christ Church supports individuals with a fund set up to assist who wish to go on mission trips, but have limited resources to do so.

Network of Caring is a fund set aside from Christ Church to assist individuals and families with short-term financial challenges e.g. utility bills rent assistance etc.

No Greater Love is a non-denominational mission organization focused on the task of spreading the Gospel through discipleship and evangelism.

Premarital Guidance goal at Christ Church is to help you enter your marriage in as healthy a way as possible. Part of this process includes receiving mentorship and guidance on what to expect from one another and how to grow closer to Jesus Christ throughout your marriage. In this way we believe in the sanctity of marriage blessed by God.

The Prime Timers group exists to help bring together men and women who are 55+ for fellowship and community. We plan 6-8 day-long outing a year to various places of interest. If you are looking for a great time to come together and get to know other believers at Christ Church in the same age and stage

R3 development recruits trains and employs East St. Louis youth in the construction trades by teaching them job readiness skills a Biblical worldview and work ethic team building and positive strategies for career advancement.

Restore Network supports vulnerable children in the STL Metro East community by partnering with local churches to recruit foster families and adoptive families and establish volunteer support teams. They have ongoing needs for food childcare and prayer.

Right Turn Ministries nurtures the spiritual and physical needs of the people of San Pedro Sula Honduras by sponsoring children's education through private donors and by partnering with local churches to equip home Bible studies. Right Turn Ministries also partners with the Jeremiah 29:11 Mission Honduras to provide food sustainability and Christian education to 50+ street children sheltered by the mission.

ThriVe Metro East is a Women's Healthcare is located in Godrey; the organization provides no-cost pregnancy testing OB ultrasounds (limited) STI/STD testing & treatment and other confidential medical services.

Trellis meets on Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm in the Student Lounge. This group is primarily for 18-25 year olds. Each night we hang out have a teaching moment in the Bible worship and then share a meal. We wrap up the "formal" part of the service around 7:30-8 pm and then people hang out until 10 or so. We'd love to have you!

Vets Helping Vets assists Christ Church veterans in getting practical VA information. We will also come together as former military members for "Esprit de corps", and share our "God Pinged" military experiences. We hope to be involved in Memorial Day, Veterans' Day, honor guard, military funerals, and possibly other events.

Congregational Care ministry offers opportunities to visit the sick serve as a community nurse conduct worship services at local assisted living facilities or serve as prayer partners.

The Wonderfully Made ministry welcomes children with special needs and their families into the full life of our church. We create a supportive and inclusive environment where every child can: Grow in their faith in Jesus, Build friendships with peers, Connect with caring volunteers. This happens during our regular church services and programs at all campuses. Our goal is to help families feel supported while their child experiences God's love in a way that fits their unique needs.
